Our Infant & Toddler Coach provides free coaching to licensed family child care providers as well as child care centers in following Maryland’s Guidelines for Healthy Child Development for Young Children, Birth to Three and in identifying young children with special needs in their programs. This program focuses on serving providers who have children aged 0 to 36 months in their program.
Every community in Maryland is served by one of eight regional Child Care Resource Centers (CCRCs). Together, these Centers make up the Maryland Child Care Resource Network (MCCRN), which provides leadership and services designed to improve the quality, availability, and affordability of child care in communities across the state. The Promise Resource Center is a member of MCCRN, serving the southern Maryland child care community. In this capacity, we provide training opportunities and technical assistance to child care providers in the southern Maryland tri-county area. This innovative public-private partnership was initiated in 1998 and is administered by Maryland Family Network under a contract with the Maryland State Department of Education.
