To make the dough mix 1/2 cup salt, 1/2 cup plain flour and 1/4 cup water. Kneed until dough forms. Have your child press their hand into the dough to make a handprint. Use a knife to cut the hand out, leaving a border around the handprint. Poke a hole in the top for hanging. Bake at 200F for 3 hours. Once cooled, paint and seal. Add a ribbon or string to hang.
