What is Conscious Discipline?
Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive evidence-based, trauma-informed self-regulation program that integrates social-emotional learning and discipline. Children walk through the doors of our schools equipped with the tools they have. For some children, these tools are exactly what the school experience requires. For others, their tool set is just emerging and their school success rests in our ability to add to those tools in a supportive way. By applying the 7 Powers and 7 Skills of Conscious Discipline children are able to build a skill set that will teach them how to self-regulate, build relationships, and solve social problems successfully.
