Each year, hundreds of families with young children in the tri-county area struggle through life’s hardships with little support or community resources. The Promise Resource Center is dedicated to serving those who care for children by equipping them with knowledge and tools to better provide care for the ones they love. Through the family support services we provide, including supervised visitation, co-parenting coaching, parenting skills training, and behavior intervention, we serve local families who are in desperate need of support.

We are excited to announce our 5^th Annual Drive-In Family Movie Event Fundraiser on July 31, 2020 at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. In addition to the showing of a popular children’s movie on a 60’ theater-sized movie screen and drive-in style parking, our Drive-In Movie Event will also feature concessions, arts and crafts, exhibits by other local nonprofit agencies, music and other pre-movie activities to create a truly memorable experience for our local families.

We recognize, respect, and admire your commitment to the southern Maryland community and would like to offer you the opportunity to not only sponsor our Drive-In Event but to have a hand in supporting the unique family services that we provide in our region. By participating in our fundraiser, you are helping us to achieve our mission to empower, educate, and build stronger families in our community.

We ask that you consider supporting our event in any capacity, whether it be volunteerism, event promotion or by providing a monetary donation. Support for this event is a great way to show the southern Maryland community that you care about the families that live here. In addition to monetary donations, we will gladly accept in-kind donations for door prizes and giveaways. Like any fundraising campaign, our success will depend on partnerships with members of the community like you.
