Build Your Own Lava Lamp!

Grab those extra water bottles! This STEM activity is fun for all ages. 
You will need:

• Water Bottle
• Vegetable Oil
• Alka Seltzer Tabs
• Food Coloring
• Water

Instructions:

Fill your water bottle about 2/3 of the way full with the vegetable oil. Then, fill the remaining bottle with water. Add about ten drops of food coloring in the color of your choice. Break up your alka seltzer tab into four pieces. One at a time, drop in the alka seltzer chunks. Wait for the first one to stop bubbling before adding the next. This helps keep the bottle before getting cloudy.
