Our Family Resource Specialists are here to help. They can help you better understand and navigate the best options for your family. The LOCATE: Child Care is a free and confidential referral service that will help you find the best child care for your family. The program is affiliated with all of Maryland’s regulated child care providers.

Deciding to go back to work can be overwhelming. Start planning early on new routines, prioritize self-care and be patient with yourself while adjusting.. Life will get hectic first starting out. But being the best prepare helps ease the stress.

Our Family Resource Specialist can also help with the following programs.

    • Women, Infants, Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program
      WIC serves pregnant women, breastfeeding women, non-breastfeeding postpartum women, infants, toddlers and children up to age 5.
    • Judy Centers
      Help prepare children age birth through kindergarten for school readiness. Located at Title I schools in every Maryland county, Judy Centers play an important role in the communities they serve.
    • Head Start Programs
      Head Start provides high-quality early childhood education services to preschoolers (children ages 3 to 5) and their families. 
    • Early Head Start Programs
      Early Head Start provides high-quality early childhood education services to babies, toddlers, expectant parents, and their families.
