What is a "Special Showing?"

Southern Maryland has a large community of families with children who have special needs and love movies! Many of these families are unable to attend a movie because of sensory issues such as light and sound sensitivity, trouble sitting still or staying quiet. With “Special Showings for Special Needs,” families can enjoy a screening of a new film with lower volume, higher lights in a judgment-free zone where guests can fidget, make noise and move around. While concessions will be open, parents are welcome to bring snacks and drinks if their child has special dietary restrictions.
