Promise Resource Center to Move in Summer 2019

The Promise Resource Center purchases new building to expand services provided to the public, is planning move for late Summer 2019.

April 29, 2019, Charlotte Hall, MD– The Promise Resource Center is excited to announce that they will be moving to a new location in Hughesville in late Summer 2019.  Situated centrally to the tri-county area, this new location will not only offer easier access to Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties, it will also provide PRC the opportunity to expand its programs and services.

Plans to renovate the new building are in full swing. These changes are anticipated to be complete by early July 2019. During the renovation process, PRC continues to offer all classes and resources for child care providers and caregivers at their current location. As the move-in day approaches, the grand re-opening will be announced on PRC’s website and Facebook page.

Executive Director, Kelly Hutter, said, “This is a great time for The Promise Resource Center. Not only is it exciting as a nonprofit to be able to purchase our own building, but we are excited about the possibilities that come with more space. This building will help us expand our services and hopefully reach more families and caregivers in the process.”

About The Promise Resource Center

With 30 years of service to Southern Maryland, we have long been the leading provider of training, resources and certification for those who care for children in the tri-county area (Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s).  Though constantly evolving, the services have always been based on the belief that providing information and support to adults results in the success of children, strengthening the community as a whole.  Specifically, we provide an array of resources to support parents, grandparents, foster parents and licensed family and center child care providers. Our core purpose is to help provide a brighter future for children by educating and supporting their caregivers.
